Commisioner Keon Hardemon, City of Miami joins with Maribel Camacho & Seniors at Roberto Clemente Park to celebrate "Hippie Day" at the Dorothy Quintana Community Center Senior Arts Program to honor the contribution of America's seniors.
Three Kings Day came early to the senior community of Wynwood. At the Dorothy Quintana Community Center, located in Roberto Clemente Park, Several Borinquen board members of the center (BMC) volunteered their time and presented the seniors with gifts, and a Three Kings Day Procession, with a Parranda Sing-a-long! The Mayor Regalado, City of Miami provided the seniors with a gift bag full of food.
Artisstic Awakenings celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in the Dorothy Quintana Community Center. Majority of the Seniors and people in the neoghborhood are of Hispanic/Latin descent so celebrating Hisoanic Heritage Month is one of our biggest celebrations.
Mother’s Day with special quests: Hon. Keon Hardemon, Commissioner, City of Miami, District 5 and Oscar International, Hair stylist. The event was center around a “Derby Hat Contest” where the seniors actually created their own hats.
